Phoenix, AZ – In a significant step towards bridging the digital divide, Tribal Ready, PBC, a Native-owned and governed firm, has been engaged by the Arizona State Broadband Office (SBO) to support Tribal Nations in Arizona through comprehensive outreach and engagement with the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program.

This collaboration marks a critical phase in the SBO’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that all 22 tribes in Arizona have equitable access to essential connectivity resources. Tribal Ready’s team will work closely with each tribe to assess the current status of their broadband planning efforts and determine their potential interest in participating in the BEAD process. This initiative aims to empower tribal communities by facilitating broadband planning and deployment that is both meaningful and respectful of tribal sovereignty.

Tribal Ready’s outreach will commence immediately, with team members initiating Tribal communities and their leadership in the coming weeks. Through a respectful and collaborative approach, Tribal Ready aims to understand and address the unique needs of each tribe, ensuring that their voices are heard and their communities are well-equipped to engage in broadband expansion efforts.

“We are honored to partner with the Arizona State Broadband Office in this vital mission to enhance broadband access across Tribal Nations in Arizona. This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting Tribal sovereignty and ensuring that every Tribal community has the opportunity to participate in and benefit from the digital economy,” said Joe Valandra, CEO & Chairman of Tribal Ready. “We look forward to working closely with tribal leaders to identify and address the specific needs of their communities, fostering a future where every Tribal Nation can thrive in the digital age.”
