Washington, D.C. – Tribal Ready — a Native-owned, governed, and controlled public benefit corporation that helps Native communities deploy, manage, and operate broadband telecommunications networks — is pleased to announce a partnership with Olsson to improve broadband infrastructure in Native communities.
Tribal Ready and Olsson have unique expertise helping Native communities improve high-speed internet connectivity and protect tribal cultural areas. This partnership will help make an even greater impact on their tribal partners’ ability to access broadband funding, planning, engineering and design, and environmental planning and permitting.

Olsson is an engineering firm that crafts expert solutions and designs to improve communities. Olsson’s telecommunications infrastructure and funding experts recently partnered with the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska to secure a $35.2 million federal grant that will provide high-speed broadband access for more than 2,300 addresses, 800 tribal households, 40 businesses, 16 tribal institutions and several nearby communities.

Olsson and Tribal Ready are currently working together on several projects that will bring much-needed broadband infrastructure to tribal and rural communities across the nation.
