Digital connectivity in Alaska

Alaska Native Peoples already use technological advancements to preserve and perpetuate important cultural traditions. We connect with distant relatives, we share stories, we give voice to who our Tribes really are. The value of our cultures and communities is enhanced when we have a reliable way to online access when we need it.

Broadband access can also connect rural communities to essential services such as:

  • Online education
  • Telemedicine and health care
  • Remote work opportunities
  • Government services
  • Banking
  • Social and cultural connection

The right internet speed and quality matters. New technologies are making more projects possible than ever before. Is your community being held back by slow internet connections?
